In 1908, there was an explosion over the Siberian taiga that still stirs the minds of scientists and conspiracy theorists. The Tunguska phenomenon is one of the most mysterious events of the 20th century, but what if the truth about it has been hidden for more than a century? What really fell in Siberia?

On 30 June 1908, a very powerful explosion equivalent to 10-50 megatons of TNT occurred near the Podkamennaya Tunguska River. The shock wave felled trees on the area of 2000 km², and light anomalies were observed even in Europe. The official version - meteorite fall - has huge colossal gaps:

The scientist's diaries, only declassified in 2024, contain shocking details:

A week before the Tunguska event, Tesla recorded, ‘The energy reached a point 60.85°N, 101.95°E.’ - which is almost exactly the coordinates of the explosion!

In 1912, the Serbian genius secretly visited Russia, ostensibly to ‘study the consequences’.

Local Evenks told of ‘strange apparatuses’ and people in unusual costumes.

Russian historian of technology Dmitry Strelnikov in 2025 found in the archives of St. Petersburg drawings with Tesla's notes, which show the wreckage of an unknown device with symbols resembling cuneiform writing.

Why is the truth hidden until now?

In 2013, a group of enthusiasts from Tomsk discovered metal fragments with an anomalous isotopic composition in the epicenter area. Three days later, unidentified people arrived at the site in Mi-8 helicopters and confiscated the finds. The RAS official commented: ‘The samples were of scientific interest, but had nothing to do with the meteorite.’

Analysis of declassified documents suggests that the Tunguska taiga could have been found:

Superconductors operating at room temperature

Energy sources of unknown type

Devices for wireless transmission of energy

It is no coincidence that in 1945 Soviet physicists suddenly made a breakthrough in nuclear research, and in 1957 launched the first satellite. It is rumored that some of the technology was ‘borrowed’ from Tunguska artefacts.

New expeditions: what are they looking for in the taiga today?

In 2024, the Russian-Chinese expedition ‘Tunguska-2024’ discovered anomalies:

Regularly shaped circles within a radius of 5 km from the epicenter

Residual radiation 3 times higher than the background.

Strange magnetic oscillations with a period of 11 minutes

The head of the group, MSU professor Artem Voronin, said, ‘We found traces of technological impact, but we cannot determine its nature. This requires further research.’ However, a month later, the project funding was cancelled.

Interesting fact: in 2025 at an auction in Geneva for 1.2 million francs was sold diary of an electrical engineer who participated in the expedition in 1938. The pages contain sketches of devices resembling modern quantum computers.
