Hermann Goering was the second most important drug addict of the Third Reich

A veteran of the First World War, an excellent pilot, the second face of the state and a complete morphinist. Contrary to expectations, Hermann got hooked on the needle not on the fields of the first grandfather, but after the Veltkrieg. Goering was one of the main participants of the beer putsch on 9 November 1923. This putsch, as we know, ended unsuccessfully. Largely due to the marksmanship of the police, who stood in the way of the putschists in Berlin.

The illegitimate sons and daughters of kings were usually kept a bit in the shadows. Even if they were the sovereigns' favorite children. However, the laws of succession - in most cases - did not allow bastards to the throne. And yet, there have been cases in history where children out of wedlock have worn the crown. And they were not a few!

What is the Third Reich

We are used to referring to Germany during the rule of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party from 1933 to 1945 as the “Third Reich”.

The 1950s, as is well known, were marked by the 20th Congress of the CPSU, at which First Secretary of the Central Committee Nikita Khrushchev condemned Stalin's personality cult and dissociated himself from the recent past. It is less known that on this occasion there was a real uprising with mass casualties in Tbilisi, loud but now forgotten even in Georgia itself.
